OK, I'M ALREADY GETTING A LITTLE TIRED OF THIS SO

MAY I BE SHORT, SWEET AND SUCCINCT. :)

 

I'm going to start off with my Sunday visit to church.

I love this Pastor because he is not surrounded by

fluff,

frosting,

or ice cream.

He tells the Word of God (Bible) like it is!

He does not try to compromise it at all.

 

Many, many years ago I was a major liberal searching for God.

I can sincerely say that I really wanted to find the true God.

so....

I delved into Hatha Yoga, Occultism (I was a medium)

drugs,

astrology,

Carlos Casteneda,

Eric Van Daniken

Reincarnation,

reaching the state of Samadhi

Middle Eastern beliefs, etc. etc,

 

It was a time to explore the unexplored

and to do away with the

boring concept of Christianity.

 

There had to be something better out there.

 

Please note that I was brought up a Catholic for 18 years.

 

Something was wrong and I had to go find out about

God.

 

(Ok...I handed my life over to FB in a nut shell...

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I even exhausted myself.  You can tell that I am not a story teller.)

 

Well, now I can wake up in the morning and say,

Good Morning Jesus...

Good morning King of all Kings...

Good morning Holy Spirit

with a blessed peace

in my heart and mind.

 

I am no longer in need of stimulants and esoteric beliefs.

I found the true Jesus of the Bible.

 

Pastor prompted me to write about this because for those of you that are still searching and really want to find God

I want to tell you that He exists.

There is only one God

and

that is the

God of the Bible.

God the Father,

God the Son,

and

the Holy Spirit.

 

That is it!

It's simple

and not complicated.

 

I no longer need to do torturous rituals so that I won't have to come back as a pooch, or how about a turkey if I'm lucky.

All I have to do is to ask Jesus for forgiveness

and tell Him that I believe He is the Son of God

who came to this earth to die on the cross

for my sins.

That's it!

 

I WAS FORGIVEN

by his blood that He shed on the cross for me.

There is

zippo, nada.....left to do.

 

I have left my old ways, and now I'm a new person who wakes up happy in the morning. 

I am no longer miserable like I used to be.

Phew...I used to be angry at the world...

NOT NOW!

Please note that we will always be sinners.  I will NEVER become God and I am not a
God.

When I sin I ask Jesus for forgiveness.

 

Pastor asked us to be prepared for the upcoming conflict that is to come.  He told us that we need to go into prayer more than ever because the future is not going to be easy.

 

Let me tell you if I was not a Christian today,

I would probably not be alive.

But I am, because Jesus loved me sooooo much that He died on the cross for me.

 

I felt like I needed to share this with you

and

you know who you are.

 

I love you, and Jesus loves you.

and

I have a very serious problem!

Everyday my ma asks me to perform!

Yes, I said it right!

 

I'm told to sit up and to stay in that position

because she thinks I'm cute when I do this.

Well, I let her think that it doesn't bother me at all.

She sits there and rubs my head/ears,

she smiles with the same ole smile that she had yesterday,

and then when she finally finishes admiring my beauty

she tells me, "down".

 

Ma, paleez,

I've got better things to worry about!

I have to keep abreast of all of my political and spiritual concerns.   If I don't, then who is going to worry about the utter chaos that exists today?

Financial uncertainty for this nation, 

Political scandals that never cease to amaze me, 

Unscientific theories of evolution

(TRUST ME MA I DIDN'T EVOLVE FROM A MONKEY!),

The Auschwitz like murdering of babies, 

An abnormal form of cohabitation, 

and 

Social and Spiritual upheaval!

Oh, and did I mention that ETs are coming to visit this earth?

Bubbles is a friendly fella.

He spends his entire day

observing the world.

 

Sometimes he's amazed at what transpires;

 

"Ouch my bubble might P..O..P.."

 

So on he goes.

He continues to watch out for the thorns and thistles

that might pop his bubble.

 

He has to be careful with such prickly things.

 

Hmmmmmmmm.....

 

There are sure a lot of them.

 

Poor Bubbles, I don't know how long he'll be able to avoid them.

Oh well, he's bobbing along his bubbly way

making the best of his bubbly life.

A CHILD'S WORDS OF WISDOM...

DURING AN EXAMINATION,

THE DOCTOR WAS TRYING TO MAKE A NERVOUS GIRL FEEL

COMFORTABLE.

LOOKING DOWN HER THROAT,

HE ASKED,

DO YOU THINK I'LL FIND THE COOKIE MONSTER DOWN THERE?

THE LITTLE GIRL WAS PUZZLED AND DID NOT RESPOND.

THEN HE PUT A STETHOSCOPE TO HER CHEST TO LISTEN TO HER HEARTBEAT

AND ASKED,

"DO YOU THINK I'LL HEAR GROVER GROWLING IN THERE?"

BECOMING MORE CONFUSED, SHE LOOKED AT HER MOTHER WONDERING

HOW TO RESPOND.

FINALLY, HE LOOKED INTO HER EARS AND SAID, "I WONDER IF I'M GOING TO SEE BARNEY INSIDE?"

PERPLEXED, SHE LOOKED AT HIM AND SAID,

"I DON'T THINK YOU'LL FIND THE COOKIE MONSTER INSIDE ME,

BUT THERE ARE PROBABLY A FEW FRENCH FRIES FROM LUNCH,

AND

BARNEY'S ON MY SLACKS AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE,

AND

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR GROVER IN MY HEART.

First of all, I want to tell all Irene hurricane victims

and

all future hurricane victims yet to come...

that you are in my prayers.

You are a strong people!

You endure so many hardships with valor and courage.

I am amazed to witness the energy and bravery that the American people have.

Who said that Americans are wimps?  Huh!!!!

I am the wimp!

Yes, I admit it and it's ok to be a wimp. 

I was brought up in the Arizona blazing desert. 

Beautiful blue and treeless mountains surrounded my home.

There were saguaros, roadrunners, and everything crawly that is from the desert.

As a child I loooooovvvveeeeeddddd riding my bike under these extreme conditions.

I always thought that most of the United States was cloaked in this hot and sleepy environment.

Never did I imagine that so much adversity existed in most of the United States. 

HURRICANES...

TORNADOES...

EARTHQUAKES...

SNOW STORMS...

After I became a truck driver with my husband we began to visit our wonderful nation.

but.....

then....

I discovered that we literally had to play a dodge game just to get across the nation

without getting hit by some extreme weather!

Ouch!  Was that a rude awakening.

What amazed me back then and now is that people do not move from their birth land

just because of adverse weather.

They stick it out no matter what mother nature brings their way.

Wow!

I'm still amazed because at this moment I live in an area that gets hit by extreme weather,

and

I find myself

SCREAMING

COMPLAINING

AND

SQUEALING

ALL THE WAY HOME.... :)

Yes, talk about being a wimp.

So my deep respect and love to the majority of the Americans that suffer and endure

no matter what living conditions they may find themselves in. 

It also tells me that the family bond is NOT dead.

We continue to want to be near our loved ones, no matter what life may bring our way.

Fortunately to me my native land is Arizona

and

God willing I will be there once again this year.

and

this time I will not budge.
