Lets Take Advantage of Every Moment we Have :)

Well, well, well.....

It's hard to believe that I am actually writing to my favorite bloggers...

YOU!!!!!!

It has been quite a while since I had the time to verbalize my appreciation for my dear friends.

So lets take advantage of every moment I have.

It seems that I will be a gypsy for the rest of this year and prob part of next.

Yes, I suppose this is where I am in life today.

What I have decided to do is to twitter with frequency, and I hope that the majority of you will visit me while I travel the far reaches of this earth (just joking).

I hope to post a drawing on Monday if possible. It looks like we might just be in town for one day because we are running late as it is, so wish me the best on the posting.

This drawing is very special. I'm sorry to say that it turned out to be very strong politically speaking. But, what can I say, that's how it came out. Actually it's tragic.

So I'll explain it later when I post it, and then see if you can stomach my view.

By the way, don't think that I have been prolific with my ptg/drawing.

Can you believe it? I have only finished ONE drawing since I last spoke with you.

Woops!!!!

Ok, I'll bring my pencils, etc. with me again. It's just very very difficult to draw in such cramped quarters, but I'll try again.

SPRING IS NEAR!

Hi everyone!

It feels like it has been sooooo long since I last wrote to you.

I hope you are all doing well,

and

that you are ready for Spring!

Yaaaaaa!

I saw the first white blossoms in Memphis, Tennessee.

It was so exciting to see the beginning of life!

What a relief...

Another piece of wonderful information...

We just arrived home today. (We'll be here for a couple of days.)

When we pulled into our driveway, I couldn't believe my eyes;

there were many Tulip plants popping out of the ground!

It was so exciting to see these beauties!

I hope that we will be home when they get big enough to bloom.

I love Tulips...I think that they are one of the most gorgeous flowers...

Now, let me continue on with my never ending chatter.

While I was gone, I tried so hard to draw, but it is frankly very very hard

and

uncomfortable to do.

Don't worry, I won't give up on my endeavor.

I'll continue to attempt to find the time, and I hope that I will be able to complete

at least one drawing. Ok?

But for now,

I must, and I mean I MUST tell you about an incredible book that I read.

It's called

When I go truck driving, I always take a multitude of books with me.

Trucking is perfect to catch up on magazines, and especially to read

many many books.

I can probably say that Eschatology

(The branch of theology that is concerned with the end of the world

or of humankind) fascinates me!

As a matter of fact,

this is the reason why I am a Christian today.

I read Hal Lindsey's "LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH" in the mid 60s.

I don't know why in the world I picked it up and purchased it,

because I was into occultism, Yoga, etc, etc, etc.

I was certainly not interested in the Bible at all.

I had been burned many times with this subject matter.

But somehow I bought it,

I read half of it

and

got

SCARED,

SHOCKED

AND

FRIGHTENED

out of my wits!!!!!!!!!

I abandoned the book for 2 years,

and then I picked it up again and finished reading it.

Oh, was that book an eye opener!!!!!

I started telling family and friends about Hal Lindsey and the horrors to come.

They became frightened

and

I stayed frightened!!!!

I didn't become a legitimate Born Again Christian until 1984.

So you see, a lot of time transpired in between.

As previously stated, for this very reason I am now

one of those

Bible thumpers! :)

I know that it is rather unusual for an artist to be involved in such matters,

but

what can I say,

I love every second of my artistic/Christian life!

There is NEVER a boring moment!

The reason for this lengthy dissertation is because

I want to address all of those people who are

NOT Christians.

I want to talk to the beautiful and sensitive people who are questioning their

New Age/occultic beliefs.

If Hal Lindsey's book on the Apocalypse/End Times

shocked a very secular/liberal/New Age/occultic female artist into checking out

the Bible...

maybe it will interest you too.
