Hellooooooo to all of my wonderful angelical commentators! You are incredible! I am soooooo happy to be back, even though while on vacation I did my civic duty to post the minimal amount of images, drop cards etc. Whew... is my husband incredible! He was so good about my staying up until 2-3 almost every night.

It is so exciting to blog. I think I am enjoying it a lot, and do you know why I'm enjoying it? It's because YOU make it happen. That's it! I have met the kindest and most awesome people on this site. I am simply speechless! For this reason UP CLOSE can't stop smiling. She has the HUGEST, HUGEST GRIN IMAGINABLE!

We had an amazing time at Branson! I highly recommend it to all. But I just have to mention 2, no 3, no 4, no 5 (just joking) events that were incredible! Really I want to recommend 2. They are:

1) The Shepherd of the Hills Play (Wow!!! I read this novel and was so moved by Pete. I even later went and called my guardian angel after this character found in the play)

2) The Andy Williams Variety Show! Yes, even though I might be up in age, I don't like the music that I was brought up with. For those of you that are young whipper snappers don't worry, you'll still have fun going. My husband dragged me to this, and I came out a new Andy Williams convert. I strongly, strongly recommend this to all.

Why do I recommend these two?

Because Pete says that they are fun,

Pete loves the flowers, and the tweedy birds,

and Pete loves all of Escudero's commentators, Entrecard droppers

and

Pete is just a friendly kind of fella.

Yes, Pete says so!

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be back (even though it is going to be 4:00 a.m.) Wow...This is a little little late. I think my friend the rooster is about to SPEAK!!!!! Wouldn't you say?

I just had to get this painting to you because I have only one day to prepare for my vacation. My husband (Jose) and I will be taking a very much needed vacation to Branson, Missouri. We'll be gone for about a week and a half.

In the meantime, I promise to try very hard to at least post one or two paintings. Lets see if I succeed. But anyway, I just want to thank all of you for your wonderful and inspiring comments. You have all been absolutely wonderful, and attentive. I hope you continue to drop by with frequency because I am enjoying this a lot, and I appreciate the time you take to comment.

Painting specifically for this blog has been an exciting adventure. It has presented itself to be a major challenge to paint in such a miniature size, because the size of my art work is usually around 22"x30" or 28"x36". For this reason you will find me switching from time to time to a larger format. This way you'll get variety. With the larger pieces I have an opportunity to go into more detail and depth. It's another ball game.

So for now, I'll concentrate on my trip, and we'll see what kind of art comes next after I come back.

But in the meantime, I want everyone to not forget me, and please feel free to drop by and check out if I have posted that next special painting. You will never know when it will appearrrrrrrrrr!!!

Pete - He's a nice fella.

He stands guard when I get into a mess

He is there for me when I'm happy or sad

Pete prevents me from getting into accidents

He prevents me from tripping over myself

He probably comforts me (although I don't know he's doing it)

and

When its time to be with Jesus

Pete will help me make that transition from earth to heaven!

Pete is my guardian angel...

Do not ask me whyyyyyy my angels turn out to look like these little fat rolly polly heavenly beings! My gosh! Angels are supposed to be 9ft tall, they are supposed to be strong and powerful, and what do I do. I paint Pete like a stubby, chubby cherub! Hmmmmm....

I'm going to also include my other angel (cherub) painting called, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty Who Was and is to Come!" Rev.4:8.....Please, I just don't know why these fatsos come out! They're cute, but not heavenly..

This fella is looking a little bit frazzled. Sure he's carrying a wilted bouquet of flowers, but he just can't get his act together because he lives in the BIG CITY!

The good thing about big cities is that as I said before, there are museums, galleries, galleries and more galleries, and lots and lots of places to shop!

The good thing about a small town is that people are friendly, there are cutsie little shops, low crime, and lots of teeny tiny festivals all over the place!

So you see both are good and fun.

Thought I would introduce myself on my new blog. I'm going to attempt to paint a painting everyday or every other day. This is going to be huge because I'm not a fast painter, so it should present an artistic challenge.
