HURRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

HURRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
6"x6"

I HEAR FOOTSTEPS
THEY ARE BEHIND ME
THEY ARE MOVING

FASTER

FASTER
FASTER
NO, THEY SLOWED DOWN...
BUT

THEY ARE BEGINNING TO WALK
FASTER
FASTER
AND

FASTER

THEY ARE CATCHING UP TO ME
THEY ARE MOVING

FASTER

FASTER
AND
FASTER?

WE SPEND OUR WHOLE LIVES TRYING TO STAY ALIVE!

Gorgeous art, Veronica! And I like the words, too. Yes, survival is a struggle for all of us!

Definitely a sense of frantic energy here. From the little diagonal slashes providing tension against the curves of the road and the figure? Well done!

Hi everyone - Thank you for your wonderful and insightful comments. This painting was a very very serious one indeed.

I didn't think that too many people were going to relate to it, but let me tell you, my Escudero hat off to you.

I have always believed that we spend our whole time trying to stay alive. This concept finally manifested itself in a painting.

Do you know? Sometimes it gets a little tedious trying to avoid accidents, trying to eat healthy, trying to lose weight, etc. etc.

If I didn't have an incredible Creator to lean on, I would have driven myself who knows where?

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about death or what will happen afterward. Believe it or not even though I painted "Hurry Before it's too Late!", I am in peace with my life.

In conclusion I should probably just say that I'm still tired of playing dodge ball......:)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend

Take care.
