This painting brings me great joy. I don't really think I ever do such an illustrative piece as a butterfly and a rose. I am enjoying the simplicity of the subject matter for a change.

Sometimes when I paint the final outcome is a very intense and deep subject matter. Recently I have been creating very fun and light images. Nice for a change.

Maybe it's because these paintings are only 6"x6"; who knows, but I'm entertaining myself with them.
